RaceWatch runs entirely on your Apple Watch. It works offline, needs no account, and doesn’t track you. The only thing we ever collect is the email address you give us so we can send your TestFlight invite — and we’ll only use it for that. No spam, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
Nautilist builds affordable, accessible tools for community sailing. RaceWatch is our first product — a start-line countdown for the Apple Watch you already own. This policy covers this website and the RaceWatch beta.
Nothing. RaceWatch does its work on your wrist: the countdown, the start sequence, and syncing to the gun all run on the watch itself, offline. We don’t require an account, we don’t use analytics or advertising SDKs, and your race data never leaves your device.
When you ask for a TestFlight invite, you give us your email address. That’s the only personal information we collect, and you provide it voluntarily. We use it to:
We don’t sell or rent your email, and we don’t share it except with the service providers that help us send these emails. You can unsubscribe from any message, and we keep your address only until you do.
The beta is distributed through Apple’s TestFlight. When you install and run RaceWatch through TestFlight, your use is also subject to Apple’s privacy policy, and Apple may provide us with aggregate, non-identifying beta metrics (such as crash reports and install counts) so we can improve the app.
You can ask us to show you the email we hold for you, correct it, or delete it — just get in touch and we’ll sort it out. Unsubscribing from our emails removes you from the list entirely.
If we change how we handle your data, we’ll update this page and move the “last updated” date above. For anything material, we’ll tell the people on our list before it takes effect.
